Lunch: a local eatery
A thieboudienne usually costs 1,000 to 2,000 FCFA. Choose a busy eatery, and sealed bottled water.
Afternoon: the Fan Zone
Both Dakar venues have a free Fan Zone (booking required): entertainment, sports taster sessions and, at the Tour de l'Œuf, standing access to competitions depending on availability.
Late afternoon: the Corniche Ouest
The Corniche hosts the engagement sports and road cycling with free access. Depending on the day, it's a chance to see an event for free, facing the ocean.
